Hey!
In J-fashion and K-fashion flatforms are really popular. They're really easy to walk in, give you a bit of height and were popular in 90's fashion which is back on trend. Here are five of my trainer (sneaker) style flatforms.
Firstly the pink low top flatforms from Schuh. They're really comfy and versatile so I wear them a lot as you can probably tell from all the scuffs.
These next shoes are also from Schuh and were originally white (I think) and I dyed them lilac. I really wanted pastel flatforms and this was before Schuh brought out their pastel range so I tried to make my own. Because the top part is canvas it'll take dye and the dye won't go into the rubber sole. I had to dye it twice because it came out the perfect colour but then faded really quickly so the second time I made the dye darker. I was really happy with them till the eyelets went brown and looked rusty and the toe and heel turned brown as well. It looked like I had stained just those parts with tea. I'm guessing those particular parts are made of a different fabric so that's why they went brown. Also, the dye made the shoe shrink to probably a size smaller than what it originally was. In the end I tried to be creative and coloured over the stained parts with a dark purple fabric pen and outlined the eyelets with fabric glitter. To be honest I wasn't too happy with the result so I don't wear them. In the future I'll try to colour the top and heel part a better colour and make them look more presentable.
These white platforms are from YesStyle and I've worn them to death, I absolutely love them. I was skeptical about buying shoes from YesStyle because their clothes aren't the best quality and when it comes to shoes I always look for ones that won't fall apart and will be really comfortable. It's easy to get away with cheap clothes but I can't handle wearing cheap shoes. So when they came I was so happy because not only is the design amazing, they weren't as flimsy as I expected them to be. The feel of them is very very very plastic and my feet get really sweating because of the synthetic inner material but apart from that they're really good shoes.
The next pair are from H&M and I have no complaints about these. Both comfy and sturdy and fit my ankles perfectly, I don't feel like I'm going to fall over at all. And of course black goes with everything.
Finally, my Y.R.U platforms. I won't go into detail about them since I've already made a post on them but they're perfect, quite high, super cool flatforms. Only for the brave!
