So I went to Paris a few weeks ago to visit family, go to Japan Expo and see the athletics Diamond League. While I was there I did three little photoshoots (because any opportunity is a photo opportunity!) each with a different theme. I wanted to do something a bit different so my friend/manager extraordinaire Lucy suggested a Franco-Japan fusion theme. Being half French and having an interest in Japan this was a really cool idea, not to mention I see a French influence in some Japanese brands.
*WARNING* Kardashian puns used. Sorry not sorry.
This look is totally Kim Kardashian inspired. What does she have to do with France you ask? Well, it's one of her fave cities and I think the backdrop totally suits a Klassic Kim Kombo as in a crop top and midi skirt.
Who could resist a visit to LaDurée the perfect representation of a French and Japanese fusion - a French brand with a kawaii twist!
This co-ord was originally posted by SuperOrange on his instagram and I loved it so I added my own touches and voila! The crop top is the Japanese part of this outfit and says 'Waifu' which is basically anime for 'Wife'.
Of course, a Klassic Kim walking photo. I am usually not a fan of this length of skirt (super short or super long is always the way) but in order to be true to Kim I had to go with the (just about) knee length. Personally I would have preferred if the skirt was tighter at the bottom, although very restrictive when it comes to movement, makes for a better silhouette.
Pretending I'm a celeb while standing outside an A-list spot. Didn't spot any celebs apart from myself, obvs.
All photos taken by my fab bestie/manager of the century Lucy!
Who can be Kim for a day without taking a mirror selfie??
Eiffel Tower selfie!
