I went to Wireless on the Sunday as well to see Salt N Pepa, J.Cole, Ellie Goulding, Outkast and Bruno Mars. The day was so good apart from the fifteen minute rain shower and the atmosphere was so chilled compared to how it was on Friday.
Here are a few selfies and outfit posts I took at Wireless. I'm wearing a bandeau bra over my actual bra, dungarees with the top part hanging down, a hoodie around my waist and underwear with a thick boxer like waistband.
Bandeau - Forever21
Dungarees - Pull&Bear
Hoodie - H&M
Boots - Dr Martens
Matching Yeezus hoodies! So controversial some didn't have the word 'Yeezus' printed (the Irish printers refused apparently) on them but we managed to get some that did.
Bruno Mars
Outkast
J.Cole
Ellie Goulding (waaaaaay in the distance)
Salt N Pepa
The day was fabulous and a lot more relaxed than Friday and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves more. Salt N Pepa got the whole crowd dancing to old skool hip hop as did Outkast. Outkast went above and beyond anything I expected and André 3000 is tied with Pharrell and Will.I.Am as being the coolest guy on the planet. Only he could rock a boiler suit and grey wig. Outkast is just so great because they're two different people with different styles both in fashion and sort of musically with different personalities that mesh so well together. They are the shit.
Bruno Mars and his band were really good and got the crowd going with some suggestive dancing. I have to say though it felt like Bruno was projecting a mashup of James Brown and Michael Jackson with his quick footwork (James Brown's signature) and hip thrusting and quick two footed spins (clearly Michael) and my suspicions were confirmed when he sang a Michael Jackson cover, and when playing the drums had James Brown in the background. This didn't at all detract from the fact I had a good time and sang and danced to every song but it did make me think whether I was enjoying his act because it was so good or because it was a mix of two creative musical genius. Where do we draw the line between inspiration and simply ripping someone off? Not to mention the fact his latest album (which I love I do) basically takes each decade and makes a song from it using a typical beat from that era. I don't know whether I agree with it but I do still like what he's made. Hmm it's a tough one.
Another highlight was meeting one of my favourite youtubers KSI on the way out. He was with his girlfriend Shauna too and I wanted to say something to her but I didn't want to seem like a creepy fangirl so I just said 'I love your youtube channel' had a picture with him and left. On the inside I was flipping out though.
That's all I guess so I'll just leave you with this really normal picture of me.
Choom xoxo
