B.A.P YESSIR! (B.A.P London LOE Concert)

Hey!

Sorry I haven't posted I haven't been at home for the past week because I had to stay with a relative because of the tube strike making life awkward for all Londoners since 1923.

So it's been a week since the B.A.P concert in London and I can safely say the feels have only just died down. I didn't anticipate such a professional performance from a group that debuted in 2012, they were amazing. I've only ever been to one other k-pop concert which was Big Bang and I was blown away by them. I have to say k-pop concerts are just the best in terms of performance and connection with the crowd, it's a genuine experience. With most concerts I feel like they're just going through the motions and the set list and it's really not the same. Both k-pop and j-pop however, really make the effort to make the concert a one of a kind experience (no Big Bang pun intended) and you can tell they really enjoy when they're up on stage.

For this concert I chose to get a standing ticket because the venue was Brixton academy which means less capacity which means I could get closer to the stage. I wore a simple monochrome outfit with white eyeliner in the inner corner of my eyes:

Top - Primark
Jeans (they're ripped but it's not clear in the photo) - Zara
Mouth mask - eBay
Platform shoes - YesStyle

The platforms were useful because I'm fed up of having my view blocked by someone's head. I also changed into the B.A.P LOE tshirt which probably made me look like a floating head in the dark.

When the lights dropped I think fangirl mode kicked in because I couldn't breathe and started panicking. I don't know why I just felt like one of those crazed fangirls all of a sudden (probably because I am) and when they appeared on stage I started screaming. The concert was divided into segments representing each of the members 'Earth needs...'. It started with Justice so it was all their powerful songs. Can I just say, as performers they are amazing. Singing, dancing, everything. On top of that their cheekbones look like they have been sculpted. Daehyun hit every note perfectly (I think that people's names who begin with Dae like Daesung have a talent for singing) and he didn't stop smiling the whole way through, Jong Up's solo dance was so good and yes, we all enjoyed your six pack. Himchan and his antics on stage were so cute and funny and Youngjae (I think he has the best English) holds the whole group together on stage. Zelo and Yongguk my two biases (yes I have two) really bring the edge to the group and know how to get the crowd going and their little rap battle was cool. Even the way Zelo left stage was funny he would just prance around enjoying himself while the whole crowd just screamed.

Zelo&Yongguk

I think the highlight of the night was the 'best dance in the universe' where we had to follow two of the members choreography, but they had horse heads on so I couldn't really tell who it was. On the screen it said something like 'this dance is to stabilize your hormones' which made me laugh because honestly, I was not stable. At all. I hope B.A.P come back to the UK soon as I was majorly pissed (upset) that I didn't get to go backstage to the special high five event they were holding.

Here's the cheesy part. It's things like this that really make me want to achieve something. I'm around the same age as the members and just by making music they bring so much happiness to all their fans and it makes me want to do something like that so I can get the same feeling. I love performing and dancing and singing (although singing isn't my forté) but it's something I would love to do. The fans leave gifts for them and I think B.A.P really appreciate all the support they receive and the fans appreciate their music.

I wore the Live on Earth tshirt to uni the next day.

Thank you so much for an amazing night B.A.P!

Choom xoxo
