New bits (clothes, shoes, accessories, etc)

Hey!

I've recently bought a few bits and bobs here and there but not done an outfit post using any of them. Apart from clothes and accessories I've got some other interesting stuff I thought I'd share.

Firstly...I GOT THE CREEPERS THAT I PUT ON MY WISHLIST!!!!!!!!!! They're worth every penny. I've found that my two previous pairs of Underground Creepers (black and light blue) have both stretched over time, so I have to put an inner sole in them, I'm hoping these won't do the same! Either way I'm very happy with these.

Next, a tshirt from Forever 21 (men's section) a dress from Pretty Little Thing and a dress from Missguided. I purposely got a size small in the F21 tshirt (I'm a women's UK8) so it was longer and slightly baggier. Men's tshirts are always cut slimmer so getting a slightly oversized men's tshirt means it will be longer rather than wider.

The dress from PLT said it was a midi length dress on the website but it in fact is just below the knee. I really really am not a fan of midi length skirts and dresses (unpopular opinion) i.e. cutting mid shin because they make your legs look so stumpy and restrict you when you walk. Which is just really annoying to be honest. This is the longest midi length sort of skirt I will ever wear, otherwise I'd rather buy a maxi skirt/dress. I have to say the quality of the dress isn't great. The straps are frayed where the ends of the stretchy cord have been cut and haven't been sewn into the dress. The dress was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Apart from that the fit is perfectly figure hugging but I'm scared the bottom of the dress may stretch too far and become loose. We'll see.

The Missguided dress is good apart from the fact that it was lost by Yodel and I had to send back and forth emails to Missguided for two and half weeks in order for them to send me another one. The dress itself is fine though.

Worn photos of the PLT dress. The correct colour is the one above, it's teal, not blue.

I couldn't resist getting more chokers from Twirly Trinkets on Etsy because they're so cute and cheap. I'm not sponsored by this shop (I wish) but in any case I highly recommend them! This time I got three chokers, two crescent moons and an Ankh charm. With each choker you get an additional gift, there's only two here as I have already misplaced the other one. My favourite out of the three has to be the large Ankh charm, it's quite big but not heavy at all and makes a real statement.

The 'haters' headband I have been on the hunt for since I saw it on the Tokyo Fashion blog and I finally have it! You can find it here.

Finally, other interesting items I'd like to share. First of all the latest Haruki Murakami novel which I read in a day. It's a lot easier to understand than his previous works in my opinion. It still contains the same amount of fantastical goings on but it's a lot closer to reality. For instance this is easier to draw parallels from than say, IQ84, which is a fantastic read but if you need a stepping stone into the world of Murakami maybe start with Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki.

Then as seen in my last post, the first full album from B.A.P with a cheeky Zelo photocard. My favourite song off this album has to be S.N.S, but I was also really surprised and impressed with Yongguk's singing in Bangx2. He really suits rock.

Garden of Words is an anime film which is 46 minutes long but the animation is gorgeous. Almost (almost) Miyazaki standard level of attention to detail. The story is beautiful until the end where I thought it didn't quite match up with the tone of the rest of the film. Nevertheless you should watch it along with 5 centimetres per second, another anime film by the same director.

I bought The Tatami Galaxy simply because of the cover art. It was so unusual I just had to buy it even though I don't know what it's was about, whether it's a film or a series etc. I have yet to find out as I still haven't watched it...I'm still admiring the cover.
